If you are not already on our e-mailing list, get in touch through this link and we will add you to it. 10/3/2010 Sunday March 7th 2010 We went to Collingwood's Monument to watch the original cannon fire a salute at 1500, followed by a return salute from HMS Cumberland at 1530 as she left the Tyne to return to her base on the South coast. Saturday March 6th 2010 Our Team took their RYA Level 2 Powerboat practical training in Hartlepool, with Cheryl, Sam and Mark of Longscar Powerboating once again providing their excellent tuition. See our page in 'Gallery' for 'RYA Training' Friday 5th March 2010 We had a guided tour of Her Majesty's warship HMS Cumberland when she visited Northumbrian Quay at North Shields. Our thanks to Captain David Dutton RN OBE and our Petty Officer hosts for such an enjoyable event. See our page in 'Gallery' for HMS Cumberland DIARY DATES Friday 30th April to Sunday 2nd May 2010 We will be providing our services by assisting with the Scottish Garelochhead 2-Day Marches. 2010 is the 10th Anniversary of this event, and it promises to be celebrated in style! Saturday 11th September 2010 We will be holding our next Community Fun Day. We are planning to use the area oround the Dun Cow Quay, and negotiations are currently taking place to obtain the required licences and permissions. It is hoped that there will be interactive displays from all branches of the Armed Forces. We will, of course be setting up our famous Stocks, and look forward to the participation of many other community-based organisations.
